To complement the Iridium antenna portfolio, 2J Antennas is adding the GPS/Galileo-Iridium Certified Magnetic Mount Antenna (2J7434MPz) designed for geo positional, mobile and data communication applications. Designed to operate within the GPS, Galileo, QZSS and Iridium standards, this compact antenna is ideal for the automotive and transportation markets where accurate positioning and reliable data/voice communication is necessary.
The 1575 MHz band is dedicated to GPS/ QZSS /Galileo and the 1621 MHz band is dedicated to Iridium while providing full range signal strength and signal quality with a hemispherical radiation pattern.
Installation / Environmental
The low-profile antenna housing, measuring Ø 54 × 14.7 mm, is manufactured with high quality polycarbonate (PC) and acrylic-styrene-acrylate terpolymer (ASA) that is resistant to UV, moisture, and heat. For optimal performance, the recommended operational and storage temperatures are -40C to 85C.
2J7434MPz comes with a powerful magnetic mount that is strong enough for long term applications but also offers the convenience of frequent relocation on any metal surfaces. In case adhesive mount required, antenna is equipped with double side adhesive sticker. For optimal antenna operation, we recommend the antenna is installed facing up towards the sky with an uninterrupted signal path.
Delivered with a standard SMA-Male connector and a 300 cm long D302 cable that is tuned for excellent processing properties, outstanding coupling resistance, stable impedance, low signal attenuation and is approved by most OEM’s.
